Day 4- Siem Reap
Today we are flying from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The lenght of the flight is about 50 minutes.
Getting on the plane. The ATR72 is a fairly small plane that was develped and produced in France and Italy and the number 72 meant that the standard seating capacity is 72 passengers.

It has been a long time since we are flying with a Twin engine turboprop.
We just landed in Siam Reap. The flight was actually pretty smooth for a small plane.

we are staying at the Golden temple, a boutique hotel in the heart of Siem reap.

They served refreshment and snacks while they are checking us in

After checking in, we went down to have lunch. This is the pool we saw from our balcony

To our surprised it was refreshing and so delicious.
We also ordered a Ceasar sald with shrimps.

This Pub Street, a well known area for nightlife.
The Siem Reap Provincial Administration is oraganizing the Royal Water Festival, float lanterns, and worship the moon for 2 days from November 26 to 27, 2023, along the Siem Reap River.
The water festival is a big deal for Cambodians. Lots of boats on the Siem Reap river so that people can practice before the festival.

There are also a lot of people hanging out this area.
Restaurants are setting a lot of tables and Chairs so that people can watch the race while eating.

They spend a lot of time and money to decorate the river.
