South of France
Le Relais des Semailles is a tiny restaurant located in the heart of the Suquet, at the foot of rue Saint Antoine in an old quarter of Cannes. Rue Saint Antoine is probably best known to tourists for hilly and narrow winding cobbled streets lined with local restaurants. The restaurant is in an old building dating from the late 17th Century and is listed in the Michelin guide (No stars, just listed).
The outside of the restaurant has only a few tables set up on the curbside that can seat 8 people.
No car is allowed in this area so lots tourists and pedestrians.

The restaurant is very charming.
We were led to the back room which is a charming, cozy, dimly lit, with maybe 5 tables in total.
Again, people in Europe eat really late (they do not start until 8:00 or 8:30PM). We got there at around 7:00PM and we were the first people in the restaurant.
From our table we could see the street and it was so nice to be able to see the exterior while being so cozy in this room.
The room had exposed beams, knick-knacks, a fireplace and antique furniture.
You feel like you at somebody's farm in France.
The restaurant being around for over 30 years and takes pride in using fresh
seasonal local produce.

Coffee to end our meal and the restaurant also brought out shot glasses with honey dew mousse topped with whipped cream (on the house). Very refreshing.
This is a very nice restaurant, and we were so glad we had the chance to eat here.
