Day 2-Cherry blossoms/Jiming temple - 4/2/23
We are headed to the Jiming Temple, one of the oldest temples in Nanjing, Nanjing City wall, and the presidential palace.
We took the subway and got off Gulou Square.
A pair of giant peacock shaped hedge sculptures in the middle of the Gulou Square.
The sculpture are about 26 ft. tall and about 230ft. long.
The sculpture really stand out from across the street.

We arrived at the intersection and the beginning of the entrance to Jiming temple.

To get to temple we are following people
Jiming Road leading to the Jiming Temple is a very popular area for Cherry blossoms.
The road is one of the best places to view cherry blossoms, usually at the fullest in March.
So beautiful!

Jiming temple, which literally means "rooster crowing", is a renowned Buddhist temple and also one of the oldest temples in Nanjing
There is such a long line to get in so we decided to skip it.
We kept going ahead as the City wall of Nanjing is another 10 minutes walk.
