Walking around the Mirage Casino- 12/27/07

After a heavy dinner at the Brazilian Steak house, we decided to walk around the Casino.  I was too full to just go back to our room and going out of the Casino was not an option because it was so cold outside.

Japonais is a new restaurant, Lounge. It looks really nice but we are staying long enough to check it out.

Beautiful blown art glass are displayed on the outside of the Baccarat lounge.

These blown art glass flowers are displayed on the outside of the high roller lounge.

Inspired by the spirit of The Beatles and created by Cirque du Soleil, The Beatles REVOLUTION LOUNGE opened at The Mirage in December of 2006. Opening its doors only six months after the high-profile launch of The Beatles LOVE, REVOLUTION.  We tried to get tickets to see the show but it was sold out for a few months ahead!   :-(

This picture is actually taken the night before at the Venetian. We were on our way to the Bouchon restaurant. It was a really cold night!

After spending a few days in Vegas we rented a car and drove to Los Angeles...  L.A. is known amongst the Vietnamese community to have the best Vietnamese and seafood restaurants.  When we are in L.A. we always try to stop by and have lobsters.

How can you resist this dish... so good and so tasty!

We ordered two lobsters, about 5 to 6 pounds each, and we had a real feast!
