Gathering at our house on Monday -Summer 2005

Hoa is finishing grilling the rack of Lamb and I am trying to add the finishing touch by adding the pesto/mint sauce.

It was around 8:30PM by the time Dinner was served.

The kids also joined us for dinner after their class.

Looks like everyone is enjoying the food here.

Beside the menu I made a few Quiches for the kids and they seemed to enjoyed that too.

This picture makes me feel like we could be sitting somewhere in a foreign country perhaps in Italy... somewhere in a remote little restaurant where the only patrons left are us... We are all pretty relax and enjoying each other's company! It was a great Summer!

Son is the pastry chef for the evening.. He is a master of operating the blow torch.

Here is a closer look of the blow torch. This is really powerful little gadget, it really work on caramelizing the sugar.

On this particular Monday, Anh Doan, a family member from France came to stay with us. Tonight's dinner is also a Welcome Dinner party for Anh Doan.
