2 days in Barcelona, Spain -12/9/18 - 12/11/2018

Las Arenas-Dinner at Quinta Quinto

For dinner we decided to go to Las Arenas, a shopping center with lots of restaurants on the top floor with killer views of the city.

We are now on the rooftop floor of Los Arenas.  The top floor is circular and it is lined with restaurants.

View of Plaça d'Espanya, one of Barcelona's most important squares, built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition.

The building with the blue lights on top is the National museum of Catalan Art.

Closer look at the National museum of Catalan Art.

Christmas is just around the corner so you can see decorated Christmas trees.

Christmas decoration on the rooftop of Las Arenas.

In the distance you can Monjuic castle (we will visit tomorrow) with a brightly lit dome.

More view of the city from Las Arenas rooftop.

The last time we had coffee/cocktails here with Minh and Loan back in 2014 but we want to try something else...

We have not found a restaurant that we would like to eat yet so we just keep walking.

Quinto Quinta looks interesting so we are looking inside...

Menu and entrance of the restaurant.

The hostess saw us and she pretty much ran out to invite us in and told us about the specialties of the house...

She was really nice and the restaurant looks nice too so we decided to give it a try.

Christmas decoration close to the entrance of the restaurant.

View of the dinning room from our table.

Great view of the city from inside the restaurant.

The bar in the back...

The menu

Starting the meal with Tomato bread

Sangria for me..

Sangria for me, and for Hoa, beer and wine.

Staring our meal with a platter of mussels.

Fresh mussels are so delicious and it is cooked perfectly!

Cinqo Jotas (5 star) mixed pork meat grilled with Padron peppers and potatoes.

Huge portion, the quality of the meat is great, and it is really delicious.

We were too full for dessert but the restaurant gave us 2 macarons and a little package of butter cookies, compliment of the house.

I ordered a cup of Americano and it was the perfect ending for this meal.

We walked back to our hotel which is less than 15 minutes from Las Arenas.

We stayed at the same hotel the last time and we really like the location so we came back again for and 2nd time.
