Dinner at Colmado Lalola

Dinner Time!  We went back to Colmado Lalola for Dinner.  We stopped here for a quick snack yesterday and we really like the place so we are back for dinner.

Colmado is a small tapas bar that carries high end products and they also have a wide range of tapas on their menu.

Beer and wine for Hoa and of course we have to start with a plate of Iberico Jamon.

We made sure to have Iberico Jamon at least once a day while in Spain.

Marinated olives, Iberico Jamon are the best to start a meal.

Next we ordered a large rib eye steak with padron peppers and potatoes.

Thumbs up for the steak

Assorted platter of cheese locally made. and recommended by our waiter.

He also recommended a good

Our waiter also recommended a Sherry wine to go with the cheese, a Palo Cortado Tradition, 30 years.

Tradicion has built a strong reputation in Spain for producing top notched Sherry wine.

Next came a bottle of Palo Cortado Micaela.  Also excellent but Hoa preferred the 1st bottle.

Excellent meal, great service, and we had a great time here.

After dinner we just walked around a bit.

We saw this store and we are checking out if the food is good enough for us to try it out.

Entrance to the Palau Dels Borja (Palace of the Borgias) is an aristocratic palace and it is now the headquarters of the Valencian Parliament and that's is why there are guards at the entrance.

Huge chair in the courtyard.

Pictures of the Borgia's family on the wall.

Street at night in Valencia.

This is the Plaza de la Reina.  In the middle you can see the bell tower of the Valencia Cathedral.

Commercial center
