Seasonal 4 course tasting Menu

The 4 course tasting menu has 2 options on each section so we decided to order both options per couple so we can taste their whole menu.

The Milk bread and house made cultured butter is not part of the menu but you definitely want to take that opportunity to order it as starter. Not only is it only $2.50 per person, but the bread is lovely, accompanied by vibrant butter and sea salt.

MARLENA MILK BREAD-HOUSEMADE CULTURED BUTTER

To make her phenomenal bread rolls, the Fishers drive up to Petaluma once a month to buy flour at the Central Milling Company. The malt and wheat add a complexity to her milk rolls, enhancing the flavor of the cultured butter that comes with it.

The rolls are warm, gooey and a receptacle to eat that delicious butter.

LITTLE  GEM LETTUCE

Tarragon vinaigrette, Seascape cheese, pine nuts

This won’t be the most revolutionary salad you’ve ever had, but it’s still great.

HOKKAIDO SCALLOP

Horseradish, black Jonathan apple, Nasturtium

Gorgeous presentation!

The super fresh scallop is soft, sweet, and has the smell of the ocean and you’ll end up drinking the rest of the broth like a soup.

BRENTWOOD CORN TORTELLI

Parmesan fonduta, Guaciale, Pickled pepper

The corn tortelli was served al dente with a flavorful broth and a rich parmesan fonduta and a bit of spiciness coming from the pickled pepper.

This dish was just ok for me.  I thought that the cortelli was a tad undercook.

HONEY SQUASH VELOUTE

Bear's tooth mushroom, brown butter, thyme

A flavorful soup and really nice presentation.

SAKURA PORK LOIN

New crop sunsoke, mustard seed, pear

Amazing Pork Loin, probably one of the best Pork Loin we ever had.

NEW ZELAND GROUPER

Rosa bianca Eggplant, brocolli di Ciccio, Tomato

Colorful and such a feast for the eyes.

The fish was perfectly cooked and I love everyting on this plate.

As you can see, we polished everything on our plate!

P(istachio)B&J

Concorde grape granita, Pistachio sponge

This dessert was just okay.  The pistachio cake was light and airy, it was good but it was not exceptional.

DARK CHOCOLATE GANACHE

Hazelnut graham cracker, Torched Meringue,

Too beautiful to eat?

On the other hand this was an exeptional dessert.  Simply love it.

Ending our meal with a pot of coffee but unfortunately our server did not heat up the water properly and was coffee was luke warm at best.  I like my coffee to be piping hot.

The ambience is friendly, airy and cosmopolitan without being snooty, the service could improve as I was told it is so difficult to hire experienced staff during the pandemic, and most of the staff tonight were still in training. The kitchen delivers ambitious food at a price point not many upscale and 1 Michelin star restaurants do and for that reason it is definitely worth coming back for more.
