Day 3- Cruise at night.

The sun already set on the horizon.

It is getting darker.

More boat cruise

Ahead is a local fishing village.

This area receive a lot of rain so the people in this commune have built their homes on high pillars to stand firm against floods and use small motor boats as their primary means of transport during the wet season.

This is the confluence of the Mekong River and the Tonle Sap river.

Koh Norea Bridge was inaugurated on October 15 , 2023, costing 38 million and took nearly 35 month to complete.

The bridge links to National Raod 1, will improve traffic flow into the capital.

Phnom Penh skyline.

On the right the building with bright lights is Nagaworld.

Fishermen on a boat.

This is the last catch of the day as it is getting to get dark.

At night time the bridge is illuminated with the Cambodian Flag.

The bridge features two 197 ft. high cable stayed pillars with 4 sections of cables anchoring the pillars.  The lights are turned on per section.  This is the 1st section that was illuminated.

Here you have section 1, 2, and 3 that are illuminates.

Here you can see section 4 slowly coming up to speed.

The bridge is now completed illuminates.  It is so pretty!

Reflection of the lights on the Mekong River.

View of the lower deck from the upper portion of the boat.

The bridge is so bright when the lights are on.

Very nice to be able to see the bridge so close.

The boat is now going back

At night time the skyline is so beautiful and colorful.

Cambodian flag on our boat.

Straight ahead is the  Sokha Hotel at night.

We are getting close to our destination.

We are now close to the Sisowath Quay.

The colorful building on the left is Nagaworld (that is where we stayed).

Closer view of Nagaworld.

We are getting really close to the river bank.

The boat is docking and we are getting off the boat.  We had a really good time during the 90 minutes tour.  It was really nice to see the sunset and also all the lights at night.

At night time you can really see how elaborate the design of these floats.

The design is really intricate and beautiful.

Closer view of the float.

We are now getting back to our hotel
