This is our last day in Beijing and we are flying to Zhangjiajie mid day so we have 4 hours to discover the City Center.

A huge red rabbit statue in front of Jinbao place. Rabbit God has been part of Beijin's Mid-Autumn festival for over 400 years.

Although the tradition of worshipping the Rabbit God has faded, he remains a
symbol of good wishes. Today, Rabbit God figures are popular gifts at temple
fairs and cultural shops, representing prayers for health and prosperity.
The Rabbit God is now a cultural icon of Beijing.

area in the heart of the city. Also known as “The Golden Avenue”,

courtyards of the Ming and Qing Dynasties with contemporary architectural

The Club was founded in 1884 as a membership club to promote racing and

It was incredible sight to see these workers washing the windows.
They are suspended in the air and I was totally captivated with their movements.

Wangfujing Pedestrian street is one of the top 10 shopping streets in Beijing.

There are a bunch of Bronze statues depicting the lives of the people of Beijing in the old times located in front of the modern New Dong An Plaza.
This one is depicting a man pulling a Rickshaw
on the left are 2 statues of traditional Musicians and on the right a hair dresser cutting hair.
The Wangfujing Pedestrian street is so large and so clean.
Clock tower in the distance.
The giant Omega clock is part of the Wanfujing Department store, a landmark of Beijing.
The Omega clock is Asia's largest one, with 26 ft. in diameter and has a and
has a 9.8 ft. minute hand and a 7 ft. hour hand. It has four dials and each
side of the clock weighs more than four tons. It can be seen clearly from
328 ft. away. The clock has adopted the recognizable style of the famed
OMEGA Constellation with its iconic claws on a golden bezel.

Lots of luxurious stores in this area.
The five bronze bulls sculptures designed by Chinese artist Zhu Bingren and the sculptures are based on the famous painting “Five Oxen,” dated to the Tang epoch (618–907).
Bulls symbolize diligence, resilience, and strength in Chinese culture, and
this bronze bull ornament also conveys Zhu Bingren's good wishes to everyone
who strives hard.

White Cloud temple is China's oldest Taoist Temple located in the heart of
Beijing. As the oldest Taoist temple in China, it has been a spiritual

The architecture of the White Cloud Temple is a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese design elements and Taoist symbolism.
The main complex has several halls and courtyards and is known for its exquisite craftsmanship, intricate carvings, and vibrant colors.
We are now back to our hotel. Time to pick up our luggage and heading to the airport for Zhangjiajie
