Dragon Boat competition in Long Beach, Ca -8/1/10 -8/2/10
Getting the medals
Time to pick up the medals...
Mountain View Dragon boat competed in:
500 meters Adult 3C and got 1st place, even though they got a penalty of 20 second for not staying straight in a single line, they still got 1st place.
500 meters High school-Category A and got second place. This is the most important race for high school and this is also the first time in the history of Mountain View Dragon boat to get a medal in this category. This is the medal that they are the most proud of!
200 meters -Division 3- Got 1st place.
So in total the team received 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal!
