Sky Tower
The Auckland Sky Tower is arguably the most
iconic feature of the city’s skyline. The tower is 1,076 ft. tall from ground
level to the top of the mast, completed in 1997, it’s the tallest building in
New Zealand with an amazing 360-degree views. The Sky Tower is
a telecommunications and observation tower located at the corner of Victoria
and Federal Streets in the downtown area. The upper portion of the tower
contains two restaurants and a cafe, including New Zealand's only revolving
restaurant, located 620 ft. from the ground, which turns 360 degrees every
hour.
