Thanksgiving dinner - 11/27/2025

We are looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving at our house again this year, and I've truly enjoyed setting up the decorations with all the beautiful, vivid autumn colors.  While the table was originally set for 16 guests, we have had a few changes as Kevin and Kristie will not make it, as they are at the hospital awaiting the arrival of baby Hazel! Tuan and Hanh also had a last-minute cancellation, so our Thanksgiving gathering will now be for 12 people.

Table is set up and it is filled with the warmth of family, friends, and truly beautiful autumn colors.

The dining table is a true celebration of autumn, decorated with a stunning array of colorful foliage that brings the vibrant outdoor hues indoors. The centerpiece is anchored by an assortment of different-sized pumpkins, lending rustic charm and texture to the setting.

In the center is few candle lights to create a cozy and intimate atmosphere.

Complementing the autumnal theme, the table is draped in rich orange and brown table linens featuring beautiful leaf motifs, perfectly tying together the entire decorative scheme. It is a wonderfully festive setting for your 12 guests

The festive theme extends beautifully to the kitchen island, which is crowned with equally colorful decor. This space features two large, very colorful flower arrangements, adding a spectacular burst of fresh life. These arrangements are complemented by a captivating collection of colorful glass and ceramic pumpkins, alongside even more foliage, creating a layered, lush, and welcoming atmosphere..

I also set a table just for the side dishes.

This is where the Turkey, Ham, and beef sirloin will be set up.

We started the evening with boiled shrimps.

The shrimps are really good and then afterward we are serving a winter squash soup with cocoa whipped cream.

The soup is brought out to the table with croutons, cocoa whipped cream, and chives and then the winter squash soup is poured over.
