Day2-Dinner at ef16

ef16 is an award winning restaurant and wine bar in the Old University District of Vienna.

They described their restaurant as: Our chef Christoph Lamprecht puts special emphasis on regional and seasonal products, from farmers and suppliers from Vienna and the surrounding area. The results are creative, innovative dishes full of authenticity and native influences that put the individual flavor components in the foreground.


The entrance of restaurant is rather small.


Hoa got a floral coktail recommended by our waiter and it was pretty refreshing.


Minh also got a cocktail but I cannot remember what it was.

Stuffed tomato


Stuffed tomato with couscous, burrata, pesto/basil sauce.



Clear broth with vegetable and dumplings.


Duck breast


I ordered the duck breast and it was pretty good.


Pork Tenderloin


Hoa got the tenderloin and he likes it.


Minh got the Chicken dish.


Fancy Chicken dish.


Loan got the fish.

For desserts we shared a crème brulee.


The crème brulee was excellent.


Hoa and Minh picked a local wine for the evening.

Close to our table they have a display of a bunch of whiskey and Spitz.


There are so many flavors but our waitress recommended: Apricot, Blueberry, and raspberry.


He got all the flavors we wanted and he is now ready to pour..


Pretty fancy.


Very nice presentation.

Glad we came here for our last meal in Vienna.


That's it, tonight is our last night in Vienna.  We did not have lots of time but we were able to see a lot of things.
