The final hours

Day 2 cont'd- 2:00 pm - Time remaining: 22 hours

After lunch Hoa and Thuan met up with their cousin Vieng and her husband Anh Doan for some refreshment.  Hoa and Thuan were walking around town and they ran into Vieng and Doan by pure coincidence.  Vieng and Doan live in Paris and just happened to be in HCM City!  Yes, HCM city is very small and if you want around in the touristy area you will definitely run into someone you know for sure.

Time to pack, have a good night sleep and Hoa had to catch a flight at around 11:00Am the next day.

Day 3- 8:00AM - Time remaining: 3 hours

Grabbing a quick breakfast at the hotel and then Hoa hopped into a taxi to the airport direction Chennai, India.

48 hours in Vietnam has zoomed by in a flash and unfortunately the fun is coming to and end.

Hoa likes to stop by Vietnam just to relax, eat food, see a few friends before heading to a hectic work schedule in India.

The Layover in Hongkong!

In order to get to Chennai Hoa had to stop by Honkong for a layover.  Here he has 2 hours which is enough to grab a hot bowl of congee in the airport.  This place was recommended by one of this college.

This place is very popular for passenger transiting at the Hong Kong airport.

It is very clean and the food is pretty good and it is also dirt cheap!

Congee station...

Check out the Chinese doughnut (it is huge).

Cost 42 Hong Kong dollar = around $5 + a nice cup of Starbucks coffee!

After 5 hours flight it is so nice to have a hot bowl of congee!

With a stomach full, Hoa has a little time to kill so he walked around the airport

If you do not like Congee try Tsui Wah.

Here is the  menu at Tsui Wah.

Until the next Layover...
