Send away Party for Kevin- 8/13/11
Behind the scene...
There is a lot of work behind the scene...We rented 12 tables and 80 chairs and they delivered them late in the evening a day before the party.

The chairs and tables are stacked together until Hoa and I we figure out how the lay out of the tables for the party.
|
We moved our wooden table toward the end and will use if to for the beverage area (wine, Beer, water, sodas, etc..) |
We put a put tables together on our lawn for the adult area. Metal round table and small square table is set up for Appetizer area. |

Setting up the dinner buffet table... in the back is the area for the kids. |
Here I am just putting a few hand lamps and decoration together for the kids' area.

The kitchen is a mess with lots of pots and pans on the counter....

Hanh helping me cut the cured salmon (Salmon gravalax). I hired 3 people to help me with this party. Miriam does the dishes, Tony is running back and forth to get the dishes out and Jose is grilling them outdoor. |

Endives are cut and ready to be served with crab meat salad. |

Steaming the Chinese bun to be served with caramelized pork belly. |
The buns are hot and I am removing them from the steaming pot! |

While guests are enjoying their appetizers... In the kitchen. lots of pots on are the stove and ready to be brought out...
