The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier- Exhibit at the de Young Museum -3/23/12
Here I am stepping out of the exhibition and they have a camera crew there.
Marybeth La Motte is the executive producer and host of the Red Carpet Bay Area, a brand new television show on KRON4 that highlights the unique culture, style and people in the bay area. Red Carpet Bay Area is a 30-minute lifestyle television program in a magazine-style format created by MBL Media Productions. From events, fashion, beauty and art to unique homes, travel and philanthropy, Red Carpet Bay Area that offers viewers front-row seats!
Marybeth grabbed me and asked is I was interested in talking to her about the exhibit.
Here I gave her my impression of the show.. I talked for probably a few minutes...

I am at the gift store located right outside of the exhibition hall.

After the exhibit Thoai came down to see us for a few minutes just to find out if we like the show.

Thoai oversees the exhibit so he was busy that evening but found time to greet us.

Private tour is over. (from 7:00 to 8:00PM). Now the tour is open to the public without Jean Paul guiding them in the exhibit hall.
We are going up where the party is set up!

There are a lot of people but it is really well organized and there are plenty of room to move around...
we ran into Khang and his Friends!
Note that Khang is wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier jacket! You can not see it in this picture but the sleeve of the jacket is very unusual and avant garde!
They have a bunch of station for food! The food keep coming and the sushi were pretty good!

They have so many people working so the line is never long... and there are lots and lots of food.

Thank god the portion are fairly small so I can try them all.

Again the poster is the front cover of the Jean Paul Gaultier's autobiography book "À Nous Deux la mode". Jean Paul Gaultier is very young in this picture! He is now 60 years old but he looks a lot younger than that.
