The Food

 All the food is prepared and cooked my Maily and the of course the steaks are from Phuc. 

A super large plate of baked Salmon served with a special rouille, a garlicky mayonnaise seasoned with cayenne and paprika (you see the rouille below).

Mushroom and walnut salad, recipe from Jacques Pépin

 

 

Roasted Asparagus.  Here the asparagus are just coming out of the oven and Maily is platting them.

Chicken bouillabaisse, recipe from Jacques Pépin.  Made with chicken, kielbasa sausage, saffron, and potatoes.  Usually a bouillabaisse is a famous fish stew of the South of France but here the essence is the same but instead of fish, chicken is used instead. 

Potato scallops!  This is a classic French dish and it is simply delicious.

 

The famous steaks!

Phuc just finished grilling his steaks!  After the steaks are rested for a few minutes they are ready to be cut.

The first batch was served and disappeared in a flash.  Here Phuc is slicing a second batch of steaks!

They were so good!

As usual Phuc has a large selection of good wine for us.
