Where is the beef?  3/8/08

While waiting for Phuc's to grill the steaks we started the evening with some Margaritas specially prepared by Phuc.

Trung, Myself, Ha, Phuong, Hanh and Tuan enjoying some appetizers.

 

Here is the star of the evening...a platter of the best Cowboy Rib Eyes grilled to perfection!

Remember what I said of the caramelized crust on top of the steaks? look at the picture!

Garlic and butter spaghettis prepared by Huyen and Potatoes gratin baked by Hanh

Hanh did such a wonderful job with his beautiful Asparagus dish. 

It is a real feast to the eye!

Mai-Ly prepared a great mixed Salad.  We also have sautéed Mushrooms and caramelized onions (no picture).

Plates are passed around, Side dishes are filling up the plates and a everyone is looking forward to bite in the juicy Cowboy Steaks and wash it down with a nice glass of wine! 

For dessert I baked a Tarte souffle with raspberries.

A few fruit tarts

A tray of Financiers and little treacle tart.

And a sticky toffee pudding.
