Thanksgiving dinner - 11/26/2024

We did not celebrate Thanksgiving in 2023 because we were in Shanghai, and we really miss not being able to be with families and friends. Since we are back this year, I am looking forward to host a thanks giving dinner at our house.

I really like the fall color palettes and Thanksgiving decorations are welcoming, festive, and warm.

The table is set up.

My dinning table is pretty long so I was easy to set up the table for 11 adults and Jaxon.

Gold charger plates are a great way to make the table very festive.

 I selected napkins with leaves motifs for the occasion.

Happy Thanksgiving tags are printed and are on top of each napkin.

Our guests just arrived.

We are happy to see everyone.

While our guests are mingling, I am preparing for the soup.

I am done with plating for the soup.              

Yesi, our helper is ready to bring all the plates to the dinner table.

On the plate are whipped heavy cream with cocoa, croutons, and chives.

The butternut squash soup is poured over the plate.

The Butternut squash soup is creamy, very flavorful , the cocoa whipped cream gives a hint of chocolate.  Everyone really enjoyed a warm plate of soup.

The meat station is set up.

On the side I have set up a station for all the side dishes.
