Let the games begin...

After dinner Doan organized a total of 5 games for adults and kids. The first game of the evening is for Adult participation and it is called the Orange Race.

Objective: To Move an orange to the finish line using only a nylon with an orange (used as weight) tied at the waist of the contestant.

Rules:  4 players, 2 on each team.  The first 2 players are line up with a long nylon with an Orange (let call this a Nylon gear) hanging down, tied to their waist, the nylon gear will be dangling almost touching the floor and will served as weight. The players will then take part in a race and will attempt to hit the a plain orange on the floor with their Nylon gear, hands-free, two finish lines about 15 to 20 feet away from the start.  Once the first two contestant reach the 1st ending line, the second contestant of the same team will take the relay and start it all over.  The winning team is the first one to roll the plain orange on the finish line...

Phuc and Anh Hung will start the game... Their goal is to use their Nylon gear  to push the plain orange on the floor to the finish line.  Once they have reach the finish line, their partner will need to roll back the plain Orange back to the original starting line.

Anh Hung decided to tied his nylon really high above the ground.  His thought is it should give the nylon gear more strength!

Anh Hung is making fun of Phuc telling him that his orange is way too low on the floor and he will lose the game!

Tung is giving the signal to start the game...

Phuc is way ahead of Anh Hung.  Anh Hunh learned the hard way that by wrapping his orange too high above the floor, it was almost an impossible task to push the Plain orange.  He had to bend down so low for his nylon gear to work.    We really had too much fun watching them struggling...

On the other side of the room Hai and Tuan, the second relay team waiting for Phuc and Anh Hung to push the Plain orange their way.  Hai and Anh Hung formed a team and Tuan teamed up with Phuc.

Phuc finished way ahead of Anh Hung.   Tuan is taking the relay from Phuc and  is trying to push the plain orange back to the other direction.

Closer look at the nylon gear tied around Tuan's wait.  By now, we were all cracking up, and tears even came to our eyes.  It was just too funny!

Hai is in front and Tuan followed him behind.. Both of the plain oranges got stuck behind the chair, and both of them are trying to get it out, but all they can do is staying behind each other in a compromising position.  Ngoc is laughing so hard in this picture...

Tuan quickly got out of the compromising position, while Hai is still stuck in the corner...

In the end,  the winners are Phuc and Tuan.

We laugh so hard that our jaw and belly started to hurt!

The Audience..

We needed to rest a little after laughing so hard.... Doan let us sit for a few minutes so she can organized the second game.
