The kitchen

Everything is prepared ahead of time so that when our guests arrived all I have to do is to put the dishes together.

Here I asked Hoa to grill the peaches and the Asian cauliflower ahead of time.

Hoa does all the grilling in our backyard.

 

The peached are now on the grill.  I will used them as part of the dessert.

 

Putting together the 1st course. 

The Asparagus soup is re-heated and poured into small bowl.  Hanh, Loan, and Maily are helping me put together the Salmon tartar.

The asparagus vichyssoise is ready!

Putting together the Socca with caramelized onion, tomatoes, and basil.  I am cutting the Socca into individual portion.

The mushrooms are pre-cooked and I am re-heating and platting at the last minute.

There are so many ingredients in this salad and I am just making sure I have everything for this dish.

Putting the pasta into 3 large bowls.

 

Putting the fried zucchini on top of the pasta.

 

Cooking the pork chops.  They are sous vide and brined so all I have to do is to pan seared the meat.

 

Adding the vegetables to the pork chops...

Salted chocolate mousse is brought out from the refrigerator.

All I need to do is to add some sea salt on top and we are ready to party!
