The restaurant/appetizers Entrees and Desserts

Entreesand desserts

Double cooked pork belly with sautéed green cabbage, truffle oil, fingerling potatoes and roasted baby carrots ($28)

Our waiter explained to us that the pork belly is cooked in pork fat like duck confit and then it is cooked again until crispy.

The concept of cooking the pork belly as duck confit sounds really interesting but the end result missed the mark.  The bigest mistake is they removed the skin and my favorite part is the crispy skin which is no where to be found in this dish.  Hoa did not like this dish at all.

However the restaurant did a good job in presentation but I wish the taste could be better.

Seared California white sea bass with sautéed bok choy, coconut puree, purple potatoes, lemon grass oil and cilantro ($28)

There is nothing good about this dish.  The fish was fishy and did not taste like sea bass at all so we were wondering if they substitute sea bass for a random white fish and trick us into believing it was Sea bass.  None of us really care about this dish.

Jager Schintzel, Pork schnitzel braised in a mushroom cream sauce with Austrian napkin dumpling, garlic confit and broccolini ($26)

Out of all the dishes this one is probably the worst one.  The pork was so dry that after one bite I was done with it.

Grilled New York steak with braised red cabbage, roasted Brussels sprouts, fingerlings and red wine sauce ($34)

When it rains, it pours!  Tuan orderded the steak medium rare and it was overcooked.  We complained and they brought out another steak but here is the difference wit this restaurant, they never took back the 1st steak so all of us kept eating it (even though it was not cooked to our liking) until the 2nd steak come out.  Basically we got 2 steaks for the price of one.

Our waiter kept apologizing and he was really great.

Desserts

For desserts we settled on the apple strudel and molten chocolate cake.

APFEL STRUDEL (Apple strudel) - ($9)
with vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream

SCHOKO KUCHEN ($9)
Liquid center chocolate cake with bosc pear and salted caramel ice cream

To our surprise our waiter brought out these two desserts on the house!

SALZBURGER NOCKERL ($9)
Fluffy vanilla soufflé with blueberry compote and Greek yoghurt ice cream

PALATSCHINKEN  ($7)
Nutella and homemade ricotta cheese filled Austrian crepes

The best part of this meal was their desserts. Every thing was so good and we ate everything!

By the time we were done there was nothing left on the plates.

Ending our meal with a cup of coffee.

Here are the good points about this restaurant: our server gave us an excellent and attentive service, he knew how the food was prepared and gave us very good description on how the food was prepared, friendly atmosphere, priced moderately, with 2 thumbs up all the desserts.

Onto the negative points: Appetizers were a hit and miss, all the entrees were pretty awful and even though the desserts were great it could not make up on how bad the entrees were.  So if I have a choice I probably will not come back.
