Natural bridge crossing

Now that we have seen the Natural bridge in the distance we are heading there to cross it.

We are now headed to the Natural bridge.

To get there the path takes us through the forest.

A wild macaque watching people going by.  They are not afraid of people and I saw a few people give him some food.

There are a lot more people in this area but Wendy this is the low season.  She told us that there are barely any space to walk when the park gets really busy.

Amazing to see the vertical cliffs.

The Pathway weaves along the edge of the cliffs and it is lined with red wishing ribbons.

Red wishing ribbons tied around the hand rails really stand out.

We are now on the pathway which stretches across the sandstone pillars. Throughout are observation decks and various points one can gaze in awe at the glorious scenery along the valley.

Stairs ways to the Natural

Closer look at the red wishing ribbons and the padlocks tied along the handrails.

It is actually very pretty to see all the bright red color along the path.

Some of the ribbons are even tied to the trees.

 A well-built walkway leads around the pillar giving an even closer look at the valley and down the steep drop below. Along the bridge and the pillars route are a number of red ribbons and locks inscribed by the people who left them there, decorating the entire way in a fairy-tale-like adornment.

This area is called the Soldier's gathering

Gathering Soldiers is actually a quite impressive formation with so many monolith sandstone pillars

Wendy took us to a secret lookout that is known by guides only.

Sure enough we were the only one there.

This is Wendy our tour guide.

We just crossed the Rocky Natural bridge.

Here you can really see the whole underneath the bridge.  It was a really amazing site.

Simply amazing to see it so close.

We are now walking into the forest and we saw more monkeys.

The park is home to hundred of protected macaque monkeys.  They are playful and it was fun watching them in their natural habitat.

We are now walking downhill to reach the Soldier's gathering for a closer look.
