Rest area before reaching the West line Glass Skywalk

Check booth before entering the West line glass skywalk.

It is mandatory to wear shoes protector to cross the bridge.

All done and we are now ready to to the walk.

Glass bridge at the end of the walk.

Getting there....

It is a bit scarry to look down.

Hoa needed help walking on the glass bridge...

But after a while your brain just get use to it and it was just fun to walk around.

Hoa crossed the bridge.  He did not like the feeling but he did it anyway.

Kevin and Kristie's turn...

The bridge is 196 ft.s long, about 5 ft. wide, with the highest altitude of 4,691 ft. above the sea level.

We are now at the end of the bridge.

There were a lot of people that got scared and needed to be guided.

This is the last portion of the bridge and as you can see the glass walk is next to the cliff.

Red ribbons hanging from the trees.

We are moving along...

As we move along there are a lot more red ribbons tied on trees and this area is called the forest of wishes.

Each red ribbon symbolizes a wish.

a

People write their wish on the ribbon, hang it from the tree, and hope that their wish will come true.

It is really nice and colorful.

Written wishes...

It is amazing how they were able to built all these walkways along side the cliff of the mountain.

Such a peaceful view from here.

Mountain peaks

Guigu Cliffside Path ahead.

The last red ribbons along the path.

As you can see the path is suspended high in the air, supported by colums that are digged into the mountain.

Path is suspended above a sheer cliff.

The sun was out and it was getting hotter by the time we got to this point.  Feels more like a summer day than a day in autumn.

The mountains as so rugged and so pretty.

Above the pathway they put a protective mesh to protect rocks from falling into the pathway.

How scary is this now that you see how the path is held together by pieces of cement that was drilled inside the cliff.

A gorgeous day to visit Tianmen mountain.

The path follows the curve of the mountain.

Guigu Moat, a towering giant lengthways fracture in the western side of Tianmen Mountain.

It has a vertical depth of hundreds ft. and is formed as if an immortal army has chopped it with a huge axe.

A deep ravine between two railways.

Pathway on vertical cliff.

Autumn is settling in and you can see the color of the leaves are changing...

To get to the next destination we have to get to the Chairlift station.  This is the path of the chairlift.

More beatiful walkway along the way.

It is incredible to be so high up and to have an amazing view.

In front is the pathway we took to get here.  It is amazing to see how high we were.

a

The pathway was built on top of and incredible vertical cliffs

Check out how beautiful it is ....

A look out spot.  There are too many people staying in line to stand at the spot so we skipped it.

It is really incredible how they were able to built all the pathways and lookout spots in Tianmen Mountain.

Next...Heaven's gate
