Bei Dajie (North street)
Bei Dajie (North Street) known as the “one kilometer long street with a thousand shops,” Bei Dajie is one of the best preserved ancient streets in China with buildings dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). With hundreds of open-air shops, restaurants and cafés, you can easily spend an afternoon here.

China is one of the largest markets of edible insects.

Braised pork wrapped in palm tree leaves is one of the local dish that is very popular.
Beside food there are also a lot of shops selling souvenirs.
