Day 2- Lunch in Kawagoe -10/21/2023

We walked around town to find something to eat and we stumbled on Kawagoe Space Kiraku, a tiny noodle shop and we decided to give it a go.

The store front.

The restaurant mainly serves noodles/ramen with a broth made with dried sardines.

View of the interior of the restaurant from the front door.  As you can see there are only 4 seats from the front counter.  There are 2 more seats on the side that you cannot see here.

There is only one person working behind the stove.

The whole kitchen view from the front counter.

We are really looking forward to eat the noodles here.

Here you can see how small the space is.  The front counter can seat 4 and on the side there are 2 additional seats for a total of 6 seats.

The menu is extremely simple there are 3 types of noodles and various toppings..

We selected the most expensive bowl of noodle on the menu at 1,100 yen = $7.50 (so incredible cheap)

The broth is really dark and is very flavorful.  The pork was fragrant and tasty.  I also love the bamboo and the quail eggs.

Beautiful bowl of noodle.

The noodle are excellent and so is the broth and all the ingredients in it.

So happy we found such a wonderful noodle shop!
