Day 2 - Mesa grill

First Day Beatles - Love Lenôtre Hotels-Casinos Mesa Grill Bowers Museum

Bobby Flay, the famous American Iron Chef, is the owner of Mesa Grill.  Bobby opened the first Mesa grill in New York, the second one in Las Vegas at Caesar's palace and the third one in the Bahamas.  On our last trip to the Bahamas we almost ate there but at the last minute we decide to go to Dune instead.  The first time we ate at Mesa Grill was in 2005 and we had a very good meal there so let's hope we will also have a good meal the second time around.

Mesa Grill sign. "Mesa" is Spanish means "table"

This is the view from our table of the bar.  The bar is very colorful and nicely decorated.

Kevin and I ready to order our meal.

The first thing that came out is the bread Basket.

The Jalapeno bread (far left) is excellent and the corn Muffin is also very good.

The best Margarita in town!  You have to order this when you are at Mesa Grill.

For appetizers we ordered the Tiger shrimp with Roasted Garlic Corn Tamale in a corn cilantro Sauce.  This dish been on the menu since the opening of Mesa grill and was never taken off .  The flavors are so well balanced and it is just delicious!

Bobby flay's famous corn muffin.

The second appetizer we ordered is the Spicy Tuna and Salmon Tartares served with red and green hot sauce with crispy Plantains and Blue corn Flat bread.  It was a good choice, this dish was Excellent!

Hoa ordered the Grilled Lamb Porterhouse chops in a Cilantro Mint Chimichuri served with Potato Celeriac-Anaheim Chile gratin.  The meat was cooked to perfection and the potato gratin goes really well with the meat!

Kevin and I we shared the 22oz chipotle Glazed Rib-eye with Red + Green Chile Sauce.  We ordered our meat "Raw" because I know that American likes to cook their meat longer than the Europeans so by the time we got our meat it was to us a medium rare which is just perfect.  The steak was juicy and had a nice caramelized coat on the meat.  Kevin said this is one of his best steak in a long time.

For dessert I ordered a warm chocolate cake with Dulce de Leche sauce served with toasted Pecan Ice Cream.  Overall we had a very good dinning experience.  There is nothing in this menu that we did not enjoy!  2 thumbs up for Bobby Flay and Mesa Grill.
