Day 2-Ringing the bell at Nasdaq-2/7/2022

Today is a special day as I get to participate in ringing the bell at Nasdaq!  The iconic bell ringing ceremony at Nasdaq MarketSite represents an enormous opportunity to showcase a company and celebrate its achievements and milestones before a global audience. There are 20 of us including our CEO Michael and our CFO, Dean that will get the chance to get on the podium for the opening bell ceremonie today.

Press announcement: NEW YORK, Feb. 07, 2022 – Synaptics Incorporated (Nasdaq: SYNA), today marked the 20th anniversary of its initial public offering (IPO) by ringing the opening bell on the floor of the NASDAQ exchange. It was there that its public journey began, 16 years after its founding in 1986 by Silicon Valley legends, Carver Mead and Federico Faggin.

Since its IPO, the company has expanded beyond its original analog neural network and touchpad human-machine interface (HMI) foundations to provide a combination of connectivity, intelligent sensing, and advanced processing that has enabled breakthrough products and user experiences across a rapidly growing array of IoT, consumer, mobile, automotive, and PC applications

We were led to giant room inside Nasdaq.

Nasdaq MarketSite Studio where the event will be filmed.

Nasdaq doesn't even have a trading floor. That's why the bell-ringing takes place on a TV set.

Behind the scene.

For the event we have our own professional photographer and camera man.  On the right is a Nasdaq coordinator giving us direction on what to do.

First they asked you to clap very loudly and then they start to film.

  Lots of cheers.

Above the podium is  a series clops with our world wide employees clapping.

We are trying to figure who are the employees on the clips.  It is actually really well done.

Once the event is over, we are asked to walked outside and stand in front of the billboard.

More filming to end the ceremony.

All the filming are done now.  We are led back in the waiting room where champagne and mimosa are waiting for us.

Cheers to a great experience.

The filming went accordingly to plan and it was professionally done.  Nasdaq is well oiled machine and the definitely know how to run it.

Now I get to brag that I was on Nasdaq.
