3 Course dinner

1st course: Caviar/Butter/Baguette with Rosé Champagne

Caviar and champagne

Each jar is for 4 people which is about 1 oz. per person, talking about indulgence

Cheers!

Cheers from the young adult table!

Before the caviar is brought out we all wanted to congratulate and to raise our glass to the happy couple!

Cheers!

A few words from Phuc...

Congratulations and to many more....

Starting our first course: butter and caviar.

Rosé Champagne!

Baguette is freshly out of the oven, a good smear of butter topped with a spoon full of caviar.  What else do you need?

I took a bite and it is heavenly, and then many more...

Phuc, Spencer, and Hoa wanted to do a caviar shot with vodka

Vodka and caviar shot

First, make a fist with your hand, and put a good doll up of caviar on top.  Put the whole thing in your mouth and...

Chug in down with a shot of caviar.  Fun!

2nd course: Foie gras Nigiri with Blueberries sauce - Sauternes

Phuc ready to serve the 2nd course.  Foie gras is brought out of the fridge and ready to be pan seared.

Nigiri with pan seared foie gras.

Foie gras are put on top of the sushi rice

Blueberries sauce is then put on top the foie gras!  Simply delicious.

We had this dish at Au pied de Cochon in Montreal, Canada and it was so good that Phuc served this dish numerous time and each time it is a hit.

Last bottle of Sauternes from Spencer's birth year (2008)

Love Sauternes!

Cheers and hopefully we will remember the taste of the last bottle of Sauternes.

3rd course: Grilled  Rib eye cap

The steak is grilled and resting before it is cut into small pieces.

Hoa and I, we like our steak rare and that's exactly what we got!

Nicely charred on the outside and still pink in the inside.

We were enjoying our steak and forgot to take pictures of the salad, the potato gratin (made by Hanh) and the famous soy sauce pasta.
