Ryan and Thomas's Wedding-9/22/2023

The main purpose of our trip to Europe is to attend Ryan and Thomas's wedding and the day had finally arrived.

 A shuttle bus picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the Chateau of Baronville located in Beville le Comte, about 30/40 minutes from Chartres.

The ceremony is about the start.

So lucky that the weather was perfect.

We were not allow to take pictures during the ceremony so I was not able to capture the moment they were married.

The ceremony is over and we are gathering over the huge lawn

Ryan and Thomas changed and wore the traditional Vietnamese outfit.

What a beautiful day to celebrate an outdoor wedding.

After hors d'oeuvres are passed and drinks were poured we are asked to go in the Chateau for dinner.

Our table was a bit far from the grooms's table but we are all clapping for the newly wed.

Starter: Vitello de Boeuf, legumes croquants, sauce acidulee a la coriande (Vitello beef, crunch vegetables, sour sauce with coriander

Very nice presentation and also delicious.

Main: Magret de caille a la creme de foie gras, tulipe de pommes de terre au coeur de patate douce, Bayaldi de legumes du solei

Quail breast with foie gras cream, Potato tulip in the heart of sweet potatoes, Bayaldi vegetables from the sun.

OMG, this is so delicious!

After dinner we were treated to a big surprise which is a show of firework.  We watched in awe how pretty the firework lights up the whole lawn over looking a beautiful pond.

After the fireworks we are headed to the desserts station in the grandiose salon.

There are so many desserts to choose from.

Opera with nuts, tarte tatin, mini tiramisu, verrine de chocolat, fresh fruits, etc..

What a memorable and wonderful wedding!  We loved every minutes of it, and what an incredible way to celebrate a happy moment with our dear friends.
