Day 2- Dinner at la Cour Brasserie-9/23/2023

La cour Brasserie is located in the Hotel grand Monarque and walking distance from our hotel. As its name suggests, the restaurant is located in the courtyard of the hotel.

The dinning room is very airy and has a cozy atmosphere.

Pate de Chartres with wild duck and foie gras in pastry crust. 

So delicious!

A beautiful salad

Vibrant colors and the soft boiled egg is oozing out..

Simple but so good!

Beef tartare served with mix salad and French Fries

We selected all the classic dishes and everything is delicious.

Roasted cod, roasted vegetables in a beurre blanc sauce.

The fish was cooked perfectly and all the vegetables complimented the fish well.

Grilled beef filet, pan seared foie gras and mashed potatoes with truffles

Decadent!

Guinea fowl cooked two ways with truffle cream

Very satisfying dish.

Maily, Tuan, and Hoa having a great time.

Rum baba to share served with a bottle of rum

We also selected ice cream with the baba au rum

We were encouraged by our waiter to pour as much rum as possible over the baba

Ending the evening in Chartres with a great meal with friends.
