Almond Cake- 12/20/08
For some reason I love any desserts with Almond it in! This is recipe is from Bouchon cookbook. I made it before and I really like the taste of it. The cake is moist and very tasty and it is topped with crunchy toasted almond and powdered sugar. In one word... "YUMMY"

The red currants make the cake looks very festive! Red currants are so pretty to look at but I don't really like their taste.
Preparation work..
grinding the Almond paste bar until it is smooth |
Next, I am adding butter and sugar to the almond paste |
Once the mixture is smooth then egg is added and mixed until smooth. |
Beating the mixture well so the texture of the cake will light. |
Flour is added |
The mixture is poured into a pan and will be baked for about 35 minutes. |
