Fried oysters - 11/02/09
At the Asian market they sell fresh shucked oysters in a jar. I have seen them a bunch of time and decided to give them a try so I bough a jar (there are about 7/8 oysters in a jar) and tried to fried them. The oysters turned out to be acceptable. They not as great as fresh and still in a shell but since I wanted to fry them, this is absolutely perfect.
The oysters are breaded with a mixture of flour, water, seasonings and panko bread crumbs.
