How to make caramel
Ingredients: 1 cup of sugar, 1/8 cup of water
To make a caramel sauce pour the sugar and water into a sauce pan and turn the heat on medium. |
Bring the pot to a boil without stirring for about 10 minutes or so..

After a while the sugar will turn into an amber caramel color.

Once the caramel has reached the perfect color, the pan is removed from the heat. Depending on recipe sometimes butter is added. |
Coating Ramekins with Caramel sauce
Immediately pour the caramel is poured into ramekins. |
Swirl the ramekins so that the hot caramel can coat the sides of the ramekins. |
