Baba au rhum (Traditional)- -10/16/10
I recently made individual babas au rhum but this time instead of using tiny molds I am using the traditional ring mold. Baba au rhum is a yeast cake saturated in rum and filled with whipped cream. The Baba is great to serve when you have a party and everyone will be talking about how much rum there is in the cake. I like my Baba to be moist and containing lots of rum.
I sprinkled a few raspberries and blue berries to give it a dash of color.
