Queen of Sheba- 10/28/07
This is a decadent flourless chocolate cake made with 70% chocolate. It is airy because of the whipped egg's white and rich because of the chocolate.

Preparation Work...
Melting the chocolate and the butter on a double boiler. |
I am incorporating whipped egg white into the melted chocolate. |
The whipped egg white are incorporated so that the cake will be airy and light |
The batter is now poured into a mold. |

The cake is then inverted into a platter. I am sprinkling some powered sugar on top of the cake.

Now that the top layer is covered with powered sugar I can remove the maple leaves |
The leaves does create a nice pattern on the cake. |
