Triple chocolate cookies -3/5/07

It's Thursday evening, we just finished with our dinner and Kevin is asking what is for dessert?  The fridge is pretty much empty, the Ice Cream is gone and there not much choice.  "How about an Apple or Orange", I asked?   A frown on Kevin's face! " Never mind, I skipped dessert tonight!".  I went on with cleaning the dishes then I see a little smile on Kevin's face.  "Mom, how about baking some fresh cookies?"  Sound like a pretty good idea, and I am definitely in the mood for some warm and tasty chocolate cookies.  I went into my pantry, got all the necessary ingredients together, and in less than 30 minutes we have freshly baked cookies!  Yum! They are just fantastic with a hot cup of tea!

My friends gave me a bunch of Kumquats from her garden.  They look so pretty and colorful with the cookies.  Don' t be surprise if my next dessert has to do with Kumquat!

Kevin always though that cookies are ugly looking and he never want to try them out.  Once he tasted them he was so surprise that they are so yummy especially when they just came out of the oven and the chocolate chips are still melting.

Preparation work

Cookie dough made from scratch.  They are ready to go in the oven for 15/20 minutes.

Freshly baked out of the oven!  I used Silicon Baking mat.  They are so useful and so easy to clean.
