Rice Pudding - 5/9/07
Rice pudding is such a simple dessert! Made of rice, milk, sugar and cream but they are delicious. I topped mine with a few raspberries and a layer of brown sugar and caramelized it to resemble a Crème Brûlée

Preparation work..
It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to cook the rice in sugar and milk. The whipped cream is added at the end to make a light and fluffy feel to the pudding. |
I am assembling the pudding in small colorful ramekins. |
A closer look... |
A few raspberries is added to give it a nice color. I have to refrigerate the pudding for a few hours before serving it with a layer of caramelized brown sugar. |
