Nectarine Almond cake - 9/5/08
This is one of these evenings where I am craving for something sweet and there is nothing in the house so I guess I have to bake something... Of course something easy that I can eat in 30 minutes or so.
I have in my refrigerator a large nectarine and I though it will go nicely with an almond cake. Can't go wrong with Almond cake!
and it is fairly easy to make.

The almond cake goes so well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! It definitely will satisfy my sweet craving for tonight.

Preparation work
|
Butter and sugar are beaten until |
Egg is added to the mixture |
|
Next, ground almond is added to the mixture |
Cutting the nectarine into slices. |

Putting the almond mixture into a small mold |
Adding the nectarine slices on top of the almond mixture. |
|
Going into the oven for 15/20 minutes |
Freshly out of the oven |
