Green Tea Almond cake topped with fresh raspberries- 9/5/09
The base of this cake is a Financier which I just baked recently but this one was an extra ingredient: powdered green tea and making the dessert a little more exotic!

I topped the cake with lots of fresh raspberries, sprinkled few coconut shavings and a bit of green powdered tea.

Preparation work..
Powdered sugar and egg whites are mixed together. |
Once the egg white is foaming, ground Almond are added to the bowl and mixed well. |
Once the mixture is fluffy, flour is added and folded into to egg mixture. |
Next, a teaspoon of powdered green tea is added and incorporated into the mixture. |
Brown butter is added into to batter.. |
and it is incorporated until the batter is smooth. |
The batter is poured into molds. |
ready to go in the oven for about 20 minutes or so. |

Once the cake has cooled down. I am decorating the cake. |
