Day 3- Breakfast -5/28/2022

Starting our day with breakfast at Boulangerie Chez Jules which is from walking distance of our apartment.

Chez Jules is an Artisan Boulanger since 1998.

Hoa checking out all the goodies before ordering.

The bread Chez Jules have largely contributed to their success.

Pastries on display.

Éclairs and pastries looks delicious!

Coffee, orange juice and a tartine (Bread with butter and jam).

When I am in France I always order a tartine as the bread is so delicious, the butter is also so fragrant.  Great way to start the day with a simple but yummy breakfast.

St Antoine open air market

St. Antoine market is one of the largest outdoor markets in Lyon.  Located in the center of Lyon on the banks of on the River Soane river and between the bridges Bonaparte and Marechal Juin.

The market dates back to around 1910 when boats loaded with produce would arrive in Lyon and moor along the quays of the River Saone. This lively market is frequented by locals, tourists and the chefs of Lyon’s finest restaurants in search of quality ingredients for their customers.
There are often on weekends around 140 vendors who come from the Rhone Valley and surrounding areas.

The market is slightly smaller with less vendors during the week but on the weekends it is full of people and probably the most popular farmer's market.
