Lunch at Alimentari
After visiting La Basilica of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Alberobello we saw this restaurant really close by and decided to have lunch before visiting Alberobello and the famous huts with conical roofs.
The restaurant is located on Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
As soon as we walked in we really like what we saw.
A huge glass cabinet with a lot of cold cuts and marinated vegetables.
Looks so appetizing! We are going to have a tough time deciding what to get.
Tomato focaccia, lasagna, and eggplant parmesan
The main dinning -room love it how they hang all the ham on the ceiling.
We wanted a table in the main room but it was full so we had a second room in the back.
Cheers!
We did not expected the focaccia to be this good. This is best focaccia we ever had.
Assorted vegetables in olive oil
Fresh tomatoes and burrata
It looks very simple but it is so good when the tomatoes are sun ripen and so sweet. The burrata is creamy, buttery and simply delicious.
Our waiter recommended this tray of cold cut and cheese.
We had a bit of every thing and the portion is really generous.
We were so lucky to pick this restaurant as the food is simply delicious.
Our waiter serving us wine. It was such a wonderful lunch! I will never forget the focaccia.
