Day 1- Arrival in Bari
We are on our way to Puglia, a region in Italy located on the southern peninsular section also known as the heel of Italy.
We are now at Paris-Beauvais airport headed to Bari.

Paris Beauvais is a small airport on the outskirt of Paris that specialized in Low fare throughout Europe.

|
The flight from Paris to Bari is about 2 hours and 2hours and 20 minutes. On the left is the view of the cost line of Puglia from the plane.
We landed safely, checked in our Air B&B and headed for lunch.

|
We found this really good restaurant not too far from our Air B&B. We took a chance and the food was delicious.

We did not know it at the time but it turned out that the pizza at this place was the best.
We are now headed to the old town. This area is the new portion of the town called Murat.

We are now on Piazza San Ferdinando
The brown building is the San Ferdinando, a church from 1849, but what is interesting is all these large buildings were built around 1933 and are part of the new area.

Of course we had to stop by for coffee and Gelato.
