Day 2- City tour Dinan-9/27/2023

We are headed to the old town to get the Little train, a mini tourist train to take a quick overview of the entire medieval city from the historic center to the port of Dinan.

We are now back in the historic center.  Not sure what this is but it looks like a well but it is now covered.

We are headed to Place Duclos

The little train are departing every 30 minutes or so.

We took the little train of Dinan to tour the city.

We hopped on the little tain and we are all having fun riding it.

The train takes us through the old town.

Then we went by the port of Dinan

It also takes us up hill to the Castle de Dinan

The castle of Dinan is an imposing medieval monument on the edge of the historic town of Dinan.

It was a defensive tower that is part of the rampart of Dinan.

The tower was designed to be an imposing residence with different functions and is often referred to as the tower palace.

We only saw the castle from the train and did not have a chance to get in.

We are now back in downtown Dinan where I saw a really friendly shar-pei.
