Day 6- Rio Formosa, Faro-5/16/2022

Cocktail and Dinner

We have a little time before dinner so we stopped by O'Corelo a restaurant/Bar next to the Marina.

We like this place so we came back again for a drink.

O'Corelo a restaurant/Bar has nice view of the Marina and there is also live music so it is a really relaxing place.

After our drinks we walked around looking for a restaurant and we saw Restaurante Cidade Velha in the old town.

Customers can sit inside or on the Patio.

This is a really day to sit outside.

The menu

We ordered a bottle of white wine.

I ordered the grilled octopus Lagareido style with sweet and regular potatoes - 17.50 euros

I love octopus so I try to order Octopus at least once a day while in Portugal.

Chicken Piri Piri, a typical Portuguese dish which we had never tried before -12.50 euros

Both of us really like this dish!  The chicken was moist, the skin was crispy, and the sauce is spicy.  What a lovely dish.

Both dishes were excellent!

We are now at the main plaza.

Columbus bar is a very popular place for drinks.

Inside the Columbus bar.  People are sitting outside and it is empty inside.

We were too full for a drink but it is a really nice place.

The building on the left is O'corello restaurant and Bar. It is the one we stopped by for a drink early on.

We are now really close to our apartment.  Coffee shop on Jardim de Ferreira de Almeida plaza,

This is our last night in Faro.  Tomorrow we will be driving back to Lisbon.
