Day 7- Lunch, Beja-5/17/2022

There are a few restaurants close to the Castle of Beja but they looked too touristy so we searched on the internet and we looked for a typical Portuguese restaurant.

A few names came up but we decided to go to Adega 25 Abril which is about a 15 minutes.

The restaurant is located is a small road and there is nobody around.

We passed by the restaurant without knowing it was there as we were looking for a big restaurant sign.

The sign is actually a small plaque just next to entrance.

The restaurant is actually pretty big and rustic.

They have this big sign with all the cuts of a black pork.

This group our girls came after us.

Best of all Jamon hanging from the ceiling.

Hoa could not help but order a large plate of Jamon.

We finished this plate and we ordered another one.

We share a large plate of mixed grilled meat.

Pork chops, pork jowls, and port cutlets.

The meat was really delicious and nicely grilled.

After lunch we walked back to our car.

This is the main plaza in Beja.

There is nobody around...
