Day 9- Lunch and Driftwood Village-12/29/2023
We are now headed to Coco casa located on the
riverfront in Hoi An.

On display are a bunch of wood craftsman to support local Vietnamese artists. Thuan, the owner has a woodshop close by and he will take us there afterwards.

After lunch, Thuan, the owner took us to his driftwood village where he founded in 2020. Driftwood Village is a wood carving workshop and studio that brings together artisans and sculptors from the Quang Nam province to create beautiful, artistic and unique works made from recycled driftwood and other natural materials.

Wood Carving, Painting Workshops, Coco Casa Collection with more than 300 unique, inspired and meaningful works of driftwood art, all hand-made by local artisans.
Each piece is unique as the wood that was harvested.
Lê NgocThuan, told us that the Driftwood village
serve as a hub for tourists who are keen to explore Hoi An's unique tourism
offerings and meet the talented craftsmen of Kim Bong carpentry village.

We really enjoyed visiting Thuan workshop. They have a lot of interesting pieces that I really like.
