Arrival
We have been living in Shanghai for over a year now and we are taking the opportunity to travel in Asia because everywhere we want to go is close by. The flight from Shanghai to Hanoi is about 4 hours so it is so convenient.

We are at the Shanghai airport and behind us is Vietnam Airlines.
Tuan (Hoa's older brother) came and pick us at the airport.
Tuan is celebrity in Vietnam and he has lots of friends and one of them send a Roll Royce with a chauffeur to pick us up.
Yes, we do travel in style! We are staying at the Parc Hanoi.

Once we checked in, we just walked around and found Ngon Garden, a very famous Vietnamese restaurant listed in the Michelin recomendation list.
The restaurant is magnificent with all the decorations for the holidays.
The entrance of the restaurant.
We got a table in the patio.
The waitress taking our order.
This restaurant is reminiscent of an Indochinese-style villa with a patio surrounded by lush greenery.
