Day 5- Pho Ga Nguyet, Hanoi-12/25/2023

We are back in Hanoi just for the evening before heading to Ha Long Bay tomorrow.  It is  a cold winter evening and Minh suggesting getting a hot bowl of Pho Ga at Pho Ga Nguyet listed as a Bib gourmand in the Michelin guide.

The restaurant is located on the busy commercial street of 5B Phu Doan with a modest but inviting space.

Right at the entrance they set up a counter where you can see employees cutting the meat and offal.

It looks so appetizing!

Boiled chicken that looks so yummy.

The restaurant is very popular so they are constantly cooking chicken.

Once the noodles and meat are assembled, the broth is poured over.

They also have tiny plastic tables in front of the restaurant.

On the wall you can see the menu and the Michelin award plaque.

They gave us a table on the 2nd floor.  The set up is super low key.

We all got the special tender thigh pho ga.  The broth was amazing and the chicken was delicious.

Cheers!

We also ordered a special bowl with hearts, gizzard, and eggs.

NEXT... Ha Long Bay
